How to Use Maddie for Platform Navigation and Insight Discovery (Beta)

What is Maddie?

Maddie is Vidmob’s AI agent designed to support you across your workflow — from navigating the platform to interpreting performance data and uncovering creative insights. Once enabled, Maddie appears as an overlay throughout the platform, allowing you to interact with it wherever you are. The agent can be moved around your screen to stay out of the way of your workspace.

Maddie is currently available as a beta feature for users with the feature flag turned on.


What can Maddie help with?

1. Report summaries

When viewing supported reports such as Creative Manager, Scoring Reports, and Media Impact, Maddie automatically generates an executive summary. These summaries appear by default when you land on the report, offering a high-level view of wins, risks, and optimization areas.

2. Intent-based navigation

You don’t need to remember report names or dig through menus. Ask Maddie what you want to know in plain language, and it will bring you to the right destination.

Example: “How are my ads performing this month?”

3. Insight generation

Maddie can interpret the data on your screen and suggest next steps tied directly to performance.

Examples: “Which of these ads should I put more budget behind?” or “What types of settings perform well in this campaign?”

For supported reports such as Element Impact, Media Impact, and Creative Comparison, Maddie can also save these insights to your Insights Library.

4. Product guidance

Ask Maddie how to get the most value out of any report — it draws from Vidmob’s Help Center to deliver helpful, contextual answers.

Example: “How can I get value out of the Diversity Report?”

In addition to the overlay agent, you can also use the dedicated Ask Maddie page to request brand-specific insights or generate campaign-level takeaways.


Where can I find Maddie?

Maddie can be accessed from the Analytics page, listed as the last option in the left-hand menu.

Best Practices

  • Use plain, natural language when chatting with Maddie

  • Start your session with Maddie to quickly summarize performance or find where to begin

  • Turn on Share Screen when asking Maddie to interpret data — this enables it to read and understand the content displayed

  • For Element Impact, Media Impact, and Creative Comparison reports, save high-value insights to your Insights Library

Maddie is currently in beta. Response quality may vary based on prompt complexity or screen content.
