In this article, we'll delve into the latest features and improvements, empowering you to make the most out of Vidmob's innovative tools.
Platform Updates
Settings Now Has a Permanent Home in the Navigation Bar
Value: Settings is easier to find, instead of something you have to hunt for.
Impact: Settings now sits in a dedicated spot at the bottom of the left navigation bar, directly above Support, rather than being buried under the workspaces menu. This also sets the stage for more visible, actionable notifications in the nav — such as flagging an ad account that needs reconnecting — as part of an upcoming ad accounts redesign.
Users: All Vidmob users.
How to use it: No action needed — Settings now appears automatically in the left nav.
MCP: Aggregate Reporting Tools Now Available
Value: Query performance, scoring, and creative-driver data across your full portfolio directly through Vidmob's MCP, instead of analyzing one asset at a time.
Impact: Vidmob's core platform MCP, previously focused on individual asset submission and scoring, now includes a set of aggregate reporting tools available to all customers. New tools cover KPI performance by campaign, ad group, ad, or asset; lift versus scope average by dimension or element group; scoring rollups; whether meeting a guideline correlates with better or worse performance; branded versus unbranded impression splits; and creative attributes ranked by their lift on a given KPI. Influencer Intelligence add-on organizations also gained dedicated MCP tools for querying, listing, and creating influencer reports and dataset uploads.
Users: All customers with the Vidmob MCP connected. The Influencer Intelligence tools are available to add-on organizations.
How to use it: If you already have the MCP connected, refresh your tool list or disconnect and reconnect to see the new tools. New connections see everything automatically.

Influencer Intelligence Report Reliability
Value: Fewer silent failures and clearer status when Influencer Intelligence reports are delayed.
Impact: Influencer Intelligence downloads posts from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube through a third-party proxy service. A new background health-monitoring system now detects when that proxy is down, automatically pausing the download queue so failed attempts don't pile up, then resuming and backfilling once it recovers. When downloads are delayed, you'll now see an in-product banner explaining the delay instead of a silent failure or a confusing error state.
Users: Customers using Influencer Intelligence reporting.
How to use it: No action needed — monitoring and the delay banner apply automatically to all reports.
Reporting Updates
Campaign Manager: Save and Share Named Reports
Value: Save a Campaign Manager view exactly as configured and return to it anytime, instead of rebuilding it from scratch.
Impact: Campaign Manager views can now be saved as named reports, capturing channel selection, filter configuration, date range, and KPI setup. If a saved report is modified, an unsaved-changes indicator appears so you know to save before leaving, and saved reports generate a shareable link so teammates can open the same view directly. This brings Campaign Manager in line with Element Impact, Creative Comparison, and other report surfaces that have long supported save and update.
Users: All customers using Campaign Manager.
How to use it: Save a view from within Campaign Manager the same way you would in other report surfaces, and use the shareable link on any saved report to send it to a teammate.

Unified Reporting Data & Actual vs. Modeled Performance
Value: Consistent numbers across report surfaces, and a clear choice between actual and modeled data for multi-asset ad formats.
Impact: The majority of in-flight reporting surfaces have moved onto new, consistent data tables. Reports that previously showed slightly different numbers depending on whether they pulled from ad-level or creative-level sources now share a single, consistent view. For multi-asset ad formats where performance can't be tied to a single asset, an Actual vs. Modeled toggle is now available: Actual shows asset-level data where it exists, and Modeled fills in the rest using impression weighting. This is available across in-flight reports with the exception of Element Impact, Media Impact, and Creative Comparison, which will be addressed separately as part of the upcoming Creative Drivers reporting initiative. Pre-flight reporting is unchanged.
Users: Customers using in-flight performance reporting; the Actual vs. Modeled toggle applies to all in-flight reports except Element Impact, Media Impact, and Creative Comparison.
How to use it: No action needed to see consistent numbers. Where multi-asset formats apply, use the new Actual vs. Modeled toggle in the report view.

Bulk Export Improvements
Value: Export numbers that match what you see in-app, clearer file contents, and timely notice when an export is ready.
Impact: Bulk exports now read from the same data tables as in-app reports, so export figures match what you see in the platform. Every export zip now includes a column dictionary, a data-freshness file, and a custom-conversion metadata file. You'll get an email with a direct download link plus an in-app alert when an export finishes, along with an upfront note that exports can take up to 30 minutes. Column names are now consistently lowercase across all export types, and you can select a different currency for spend data, calculated from USD using the average conversion rate over your selected date range.
Users: All customers using bulk data exports.
How to use it: No action needed for existing exports. Find exports under Settings > Data Management > Data Exports, and select a currency when configuring an export if you want spend in something other than USD.

Scoring Updates
Scoring Accuracy Fixes
Value: More accurate creative scores across more content types and languages.
Impact: Several scoring issues were corrected this month: motion detection now scores correctly for shorter-form video, which matters for TikTok and Reels content; audio in non-Latin languages is now scored correctly; HTML and GIF formats now receive duration scoring; gaps in supported aspect ratios and media dimensions were closed; file size is now calculated correctly; and the confidence threshold for detecting whether a person is present in an asset now matches the analytics product, so the two no longer disagree. The explanation shown when a criterion returns an NA score was also corrected to be more accurate.
Users: All customers using Creative Scoring, particularly those with short-form video, non-English audio, or HTML/GIF creative.
How to use it: No action needed — these corrections apply automatically to scoring.
Standard Criteria Retired
Value: One consistent path for building scoring guidelines, instead of two overlapping systems.
Impact: Standard Criteria has been fully removed from the platform. It no longer appears in reporting, is no longer available as a submission option in pre-flight, and can't be selected when building or editing guidelines. Custom Guidelines and Guideline Groups are now the path forward for all non-channel-specific scoring needs.
Users: Customers who previously used Standard Criteria in submissions, guidelines, or reporting.
How to use it: Use the Custom Guidelines builder to recreate any scoring criteria you relied on under Standard Criteria.
