How do I connect my Pinterest Ad Account?

All you need to know about how to connect a Pinterest Ad Account

To successfully connect, the user connecting the ad account must have at least one of the following roles: (Please be sure the email address with the below permissions is the same email address you use to access Creative Studio.)

  1. Admin

  2. Campaign

  3. Analyst


Step 1: Sign in to VidMob

Step 2: Click on your workspace icon/name and select the Connect Ad Accounts option.

Step 3: Select the Pinterest card to connect accounts through by clicking on any of the platform cards displayed.

Step 4: Go to Manage Accounts Tab

  • Connect to Pinterest by clicking “Sign In”.

  • Enter your Pinterest account details.

  • Click “Give Access” to grant VidMob permission to access the data required to import your creatives and performance metrics.

Note: VidMob only uses these permissions to download creatives and performance data on your behalf. We cannot make edits in your ads manager. Step 5: Go to Manage Accounts tab

  • Identify the ad accounts that you would like connected to Creative Analytics by selecting the checkboxes and clicking “Save”.

Note: Don’t forget to click Save!


To disconnect an ad account, press the "Disconnect" button provided on the account's card.

Note on historical data: By default, newly connected ad accounts begin collecting data from the connection date onward. Historical performance imports are not automatically enabled for all organizations. Up to ~13 months of historical data may be available based on your contract scope — please contact your Account Manager if you need historical data imported.

Then confirm by clicking "Disconnect" once more.
